Hi,
my name is Mike.
For my eagle project, I planned and managed a group of
adults and scouts and built ten garden benches to be placed at the
Historic Sully Plantation in Chantilly Virginia.
The Park has a shortage of places to sit.
Visitors to the Park will now have a place to sit and rest.
The benches are portable and can also be used when the Park has
group presentations.
I worked with Bill Godfrey, the Maintenance
Coordinator for the Park.
I have been in Troop 1137 since March, 1996.
I have all of my required merit badges except Communications Merit
Badge and this web page is one of my last requirements to complete the
merit badge.
I hope you enjoy the
pictures of the work we did to complete my project and I hope that it will
inspire other scouts to finish their Eagle Rank Requirements.
I would like to thank my Mom, my Dad, Mr. Thorpe, Mr.
Vitalis, Mr. Godfrey, and the other adults, scouts, family, and friends
who gave up their time to help me complete the project
